CHICAGO – Tuesday’s baseball game at Purdue has been cancelled due to expected wind chill temperatures in the mid-to-low 20s.  The contest would have served as the Boiler’s home opener and the debut of their new Alexander Field.

The Flames split a two-game stint against Purdue earlier this season and will travel to West Lafayette, Ind. on April 24 for a midweek game scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.

UIC’s next opponent will be a three-game series against Horizon League-foe Milwaukee, beginning on Friday at 4 p.m. CT at Les Miller Field.
