    Boyd's World Current Iterative Strength Ratings

    CHICAGO- The UIC baseball team prides itself on playing the nation's top teams season after season, and the Flames' 2010 strength of schedule currently rates among the country's best according to national college baseball data website Boyd's World.

    As of March 9, the Flames' strength of schedule ranks ninth among NCAA Division I teams. UIC reached as high as eighth on March 8.

    Thus far the Flames have faced the likes of LeMoyne, which had a strength of schedule as high as No. 5 and recently checks in at No. 11, Alabama and nationally-ranked Western Kentucky.

    Fellow Horizon League member Wright State also has one of the country's top SoS, rating third as of March 9.

    UIC plays Big XII club Baylor in Waco, Texas this weekend.
