    Martin, Tennessee - The University of Illinois at Chicago baseball team continued its winning ways with a 9-3 victory over Tennessee-Martin at Skyhawk Field on Saturday afternoon.

    Junior right fielder Curtis Granderson led the charge for UIC (5-1), batting 3-for-3 with two RBI and three stolen bases. Junior catcher Kevin Nelson connected for his third home run in as many games with a grand slam in the fifth inning.

    Freshman Ryan Gehring went seven innings for the Flames, allowing one earned run while striking out three batters to earn his first career victory.

    The second game of the double-header was postponed due to rain and will be made up on Sunday as a part of another twin-bill that will begin at 11:00 A.M.
