    2000: In his rookie season, he made 16 appearances on the mound while earning four starts?in 36.0 innings pitched, he compiled a 5.50 ERA with a 3-2 record?struck out 28 batters while issuing 12 walks and held opponents to a .266 batting average?first collegiate victory was a 6-3 decision at Cleveland State on April 15 as he tossed 4.1 innings and gave up five hits and two earned runs?picked up his third win of the year against Monmouth College after pitching six complete innings and surrendering just four hits with five strikeouts.
