Made 14 total start in 14 appearances on the mound ... he led UIC and the Horizon League with 94 innings pitched ... compiled a record of 4-6 with an ERA of 4.02, which ranked seventh in the conference ... his 14 games started tied-for-first in the HL along with teammate Tomas Michelson and three other pitchers ... only hit six batters all season ... logged his first win of the season in his debut versus Marist on Feb. 15 ... tossed 6.1 innings at No. 9 Vanderbilt on Feb. 22, allowing just five hits and two runs ... limited Missouri to a mere eight hits and three runs during 6 2/3 innings of work on March 1 ... lasted 8 1/3 frames at Valparaiso on April 26, giving up just one run and earning the win ... tossed his first collegiate complete in the final game of the season against Valpo at the Horizon League Tournament, limiting the Crusaders to one earned run.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Lewandowski was named the Naperville Sun Player of the Year and also received All-State Special Mention recognition from the Chicago Tribune. During his senior season with the Redhawks, Lewandowski posed a 1.45 ERA with an 8-2 record and fanned 81 batters in 77 innings. The Dupage County All-Area honoree also hit .339 at the plate and notched an .858 on-base percentage. Currently enrolled as a Teaching of Mathematics major.
