2000 Highlights: As a rookie, he finished the year with a 4.81 ERA in 15 appearances on the mound, including starts against Arkansas-Little Rock and Georgia State?in 24.1 innings of work, he gave up 40 hits, 13 earned runs and struck out 13 while walking just eight?compiled a 4.50 ERA against MCC foes?in 3.1 innings against Little Rock in the season opener on Feb. 11, he pitched well, surrendering four hits and one earned run before turning the mound over to Nick Worm in the fourth?earned a save against Monmouth College on May 3 as he pitched in the ninth and struck out a pair to preserve a 5-2 UIC win.
