    2005 Highlights: Selected to both the All-Horizon League Second Team and Horizon League All-Newcomer Team after batting .317 with six homers and 42 RBI...was ranked in the top 10 in the Horizon League in runs (49, 3rd), doubles (16, 3rd), total bases (101, 4th), on-base percentage (.427, 3rd), RBI (42, 4th), hits (64, 6th) and slugging percentage (.508, 8th)...was named to the Horizon League All-Tournament team after batting a team-best, .400 (6-for-15) with five runs scored and two RBI...most impressive performance came in the championship contest against UW-Milwaukee, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored...torched Horizon League pitching, batting a team-best, .453 with five homers and 24 RBI...was hit by a pitch, 16 times, tying him for second in school-history for a single-season...went 4-for-5 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored in a 12-4 victory over Youngstown State in the second game of their twinbill on May 15th...finished the series against the Penguins, batting .571 (8-for-14) with eight RBI and seven runs scored...helped UIC to a 14-1 win over Cleveland State on May 6th with a pair of two-run doubles...batted .500 (6-for-12) with two homers, seven runs scored and five RBI in a four-game series against Butler from April 29th-May 1st...picked up three hits against Eastern Illinois in a 16-15 win over the Panthers on April 19th...went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI against Wright State on April 10th...was a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI in an 8-3 win against Valparaiso.

    Prior to UIC: Transferred from El Camino CC in El Camino, a sophomore, named to the All-South Coast Second Team after batting .330 with five homer and 38 RBI...led Warriors to the Super Regional as a sophomore, while serving as team a freshman, selected to the All-South Coast First Team and All-Southern California First Team after batting a team-high, .403 with a team-high, eight homers and a team-high, 43 RBI...set the school-record for being hit-by-pitches with 26...tied the school-record with 13 homers in two seasons...drafted in the 35th round, 1,038th overall in the First Year Major League Player Draft by the Cleveland Indians.
