    2003 Highlights: Has made 13 appearances, starting seven games this season...owns a 3-3 record with a 5.73 ERA and 27 strikeouts ...has been a part of two combined shutouts this year...his 13 appearances is tied for third-most on the staff...earned his first win of the campaign versus Valparaiso on March 25th, working six strong innings while striking out five...pitched two innings to pick up the victory in UIC?s 28-0 triumph over Trinity International on April 16th...also tabbed the win, tossing a scoreless inning of relief, in the Flames? 3-2 victory over Wright State on April 19th.

    2002 Highlights: Appeared in 13 games, while starting 10 outings?picked up first victory in a UIC uniform as he scattered six hits and struck out four batters in eight innings of work as the Flames earned the 5-3 victory over Kansas?helped UIC advance to the Horizon League Championship game as he allowed five hits and two runs in seven innings of work to lift the Flames to the 5-3 victory over Butler on May 25th?finished the season with a record of 3-0, along with a ERA of 2.60 and 21 strikeouts?tied a season-high with four strikeouts while pitching four scoreless innings to give UIC the 9-0 win over Chicago State on May 7th.

    Prior to UIC: Began his collegiate career at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa?as a sophomore, he led the Warriors with a 6-3 overall record while compiling a 4.88 ERA?in 51.2 innings pitched, he struck out 39 while giving up 60 hits and 29 walks?made 10 starts and finished up three games?as a rookie, he led the Waldorf pitching staff with a stingy 2.14 ERA while compiling a 3-1 overall record?racked up 17 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched while allowing 34 hits, 14 runs and eight earned runs?was named to the academic all-region team in '99.
