Box Score TUSCALOOSA, ALA. – The UIC baseball team competed in game two of its three-game set against 20
th ranked Alabama Saturday. Â The Flames kept it close early on, but just couldn't break through offensively, dropping the contest by a final score of 10-0 in seven innings.

- True freshman Brandon Bak started his second game of the season, and gave the Flames four and two thirds innings, surrendering two earned runs, including one run that scored as an inherited runner for Zak Gould.
- The Alabama offense came alive against the Flames bullpen in the fifth and sixth innings, coming alive for nine runs, four off Zak Gould and three off Peter Newton.
- Charlie Szykowny tallied the lone hit for the Flames on the afternoon, a single up the middle in the Flames' half of the fourth inning.

The Flames and Crimson Tide will close out their three-game series Sunday afternoon, with the final game of the series set for a 12:00 p.m. CT first pitch.
