    Flames Fall 4-2 Against Eastern Michigan

    The UIC women's soccer team (1-8-0) dropped a 4-2 decision on Sunday against Eastern Michigan (4-2-1) at Flames Field. Freshman Emily Wauer earned the first goal of her collegiate career while sophomore Jasmin Carrera earned her fourth goal on the season.

    Flames Outlast DePaul in Double Overtime, 2-1

    The UIC men's soccer team (4-2-1) battled back from a 1-0 deficit to secure a 2-1 (2OT) victory against DePaul (3-3-1) on Saturday night at Flames Field. Junior Jorge Alvarez netted the game-winner and his second goal of the match in the 104th minute on a field-length kick from sophomore goalkeeper Andrew Putna.

    UIC Volleyball Downs Eastern Illinois in Four Sets

    The UIC volleyball team (6-9) won its final contest of the Penn State Alumni Classic Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory (25-21, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17) over Eastern Illinois (6-7). The Flames went 2-1 at the PSU Alumni Classic and start Horizon League play next weekend.

    Women's Golf Drops Tight Dual Match with Green Bay

    The UIC women's golf team dropped a tight dual match with Green Bay Saturday at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club. The Phoenix bettered the Flames by one shot (319-320) but UIC senior Elizabeth Curtiss won the event with a career-low round of 76.

    Women's Tennis Finishes Play at Bowling Green Invite

    The UIC women's tennis team concluded action at its first competition of the fall at the Bowling Green Invitational on Saturday. The two-day tournament produced eight wins through singles and doubles for the Flames, with senior Keti Mebuke and freshman Melika LeBlanc each winning the consolation of their respective singles brackets.

    Women's Soccer Goes Down Fighting in 4-2 Setback Against SLU

    The UIC women's soccer team (1-7-0) scored two goals in the second half against Saint Louis (4-4-0) on Friday night, but ultimately fell in the home match by a final score of 4-2. Freshman Sydney Wright and sophomore Kendall Wilde tallied UIC's goals and the first of their collegiate careers.
