UIC has garnered some early-season recognition with their 8-1 start, receiving a No. 16 ranking in this week’s CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll. The Flames wrap up a three-game homestand on Saturday against Eastern Michigan (6-2), which will be aired on Comcast SportsNet Chicago at 1 p.m.
Talton picks up his second UICFlames.com award of the season and men’s basketball collects its third-straight accolade.
