    UIC Athletics Hall of Fame

    Chicago, Ill. - Six new exemplary members will be inducted into UIC Athletics Hall of Fame at the 2009 Reunion & Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, January 16 at the UIC Forum.

    Former men's basketball coach Bob Hallberg will join track & field/women's basketball star Sharon Carroll, softball All-American Stefanie Christoferson, two-time women's tennis conference player of the year Nicole Livingston, football standout Fred Espinoza and All-American wrestler Joe Siprut to compose this year's induction class.

    Tickets for the event are being sold for $40 each for Athletic Alumni members and $45 for non-members. A table for eight can be reserved for $320 a table.

    The night begins with a social hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. The induction ceremony will start at 8 p.m.

    The UIC Forum is located in the heart of the UIC campus at the corner of Roosevelt and Halsted.
