It was a great day for head coach Howard Moore
and his staff on Thursday. Five new Flames were officially brought on board, and the 2011-12 recruiting class is complete
. Three standouts from the Chicago Public League, a near seven-footer that is a near-perfect fit in the Swing Offense and a high-major recruit from Dallas that will fight for a starting spot right away. Pretty impressive for a staff that didn't start at UIC until early September.
In the first installment of the RCN Cable "Howard Moore Podcast," Adam Levinson and the first-year head coach preview Wednesday's game against Pitt, the Flames defensive philosophy, and the importance of the fan base in the process of rebuilding the program.
