    UIC Student-Athletes Named To Horizon League Spring Academic All-League Teams

    Baseball, men's and women's tennis athletes recognized with academic honor.

    INDIANAPOLIS- Five UIC student-athletes were honored for excelling on the field as well as in the classroom as the Horizon League announced the Academic All-League teams for it's eight spring sports Wednesday

    Three members of the Flames' baseball squad earned the nod, while men's tennis and women's tennis each placed one student-athlete on their respective all-league teams. Of the five Flames honored, three are multiple-year honorees.

    In order to be considered for the all-league honor, a student-athlete needs to have a 3.20 or higher cumulative GPA and have completed at least 24 hours of credit at the Horizon League member institution.
