Chicago, Ill.- It is that time of year again, and UIC Athletics is hosting its 8th Annual Cubs Rooftop Celebration to benefit the UIC Athletic Scholarship Fund.
Please join us to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the Washington Nationals on Sunday, May 6, 2007. The ball game will start at 1:20 p.m., but the doors will open a half-hour before the game starts and close a half-hour after the conclusion of the game. The event will take place on the 3643 N. Sheffield Rooftop.
Whether you are a visitor from out of town, a local Cubs fan or a just baseball fan, this is a unique and one of a kind experience for everyone.
The cost to be a part of this incredible occasion is only $95 per person and includes an all you can eat and drink package throughout the game.
The menu includes: assorted fresh fruit, dijon potato salad, pasta salad, grilled hamburgers, grilled cheeseburgers, grilled chicken breasts, grilled portabella mushrooms, kosher hot dogs, Wisconsin-style brats, grilled salmon, grilled ribeye steak, assorted chips and assorted cookies. The drink package includes beer, wine and soft drinks (alcohol is only served through the 7th inning).
Additionally, all proceeds will benefit the UIC Athletic Scholarship Fund.
There is only a limited number of tickets available for this special event, so reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone, including children and visitors, is welcome to attend this event. Packages of 10 can be purchased for a reduced price of $900.
